Fuck You

The fucking modem is in your fucking room, and for some fucking reason, you refuse to check if I am still using the internet before turning it off. And when you turn it off, just like that, every single night, I have to go over and turn it back on again.

So why, oh why, did you fucking lock the door after turning off the modem, and fucking turn on another switch when I knock on your door because obviously the modem wasn't on? Have fun playing a prank on me in the middle of the night?

And when I knock angrily for the fifth or sixth time because you refuse to open the door the many times I knocked softly before, you angrily open the door and asked what my problem was. My problem is YOU TURNING OFF THE MODEM without checking with me!

And when I turn to go off, you edge in a "fuck off" before you closed the door. Fun, right? Squeezing in that last sentence on purpose before shutting the door just so that there'd be no comeback. Feel big? Feel awfully big because you had the last word? Feel awfully grown up the many times you throw unreasonable tantrums on me and I didn't say anything most of the time?

Grow up.

Asking For It

I have been coughing for the past two weeks, coupled with an off and on flu.

And because I am so dumb, I went ahead and kept eating fried and heaty stuff well into my illness. After the second coming of the illness, I stopped. However, the cough seems to be getting worse even though I stopped eating heaty stuff.

BUT..

I just very happily ate an ice cream cone. I am so going to die later on.

And I am blaming my recent brainless posts on my sickness. Can't think straight. So there.

Random squawk: Pictures will be hosted with Flickr.com from now on. Apparently, the quality of the photos I hosted with photobucket were slightly compromised, and my previous misconception that the free Flickr account has limited space was cleared by Cudas. So yeah.

These are the pictures for the Sentosa trip from the lomo-cam that Lazy was playing with, hosted on Flickr.

Thing about using Flickr is, even though I put relatively easy-to-see pictures, you can still click on it and look for a larger image. And oh yeah, these were taken by Lazy, so there're no watermarks on them.

Using Flickr to host pictures for your blog can be quite a drag. I had to open the pictures one by one, and click on the size that I want, and then copy and paste, and then click "back" twice, and repeat.

Thank me, goddammit, thank me!

Okay, I've tweaked the template a little bit to accommodate more blog links. If your link is not on the list, let me know. If your link is on the list and you don't want it to be, let me know as well.

Aaaaanyway, I also realized that it can get embarassing to read my blog in office, what with the kissing girls and all. Well, entertainment comes with some form of sacrifice, so deal with it! I guess it also helps in training you to have the fastest Alt+Tab-to-excel-spreadsheet fingers.

This Is Funny Shit

'Second Life' ends first marriage for British man

LONDON (AFP) - - A British woman is to divorce her husband after discovering he was having a virtual affair within the online game "Second Life," British media reported Friday.

Amy Taylor, 28, met her husband David Pollard within the game in May 2003, and six months later, she moved into his home in Cornwall, southwest England.

The couple married in July 2005, while their "Second Life" avatars Dave Barmy and Laura Skye -- younger, slimmer versions of their real-life selves -- also held an online ceremony for their virtual friends.

After a rare break from the computer, however, Taylor returned to find her 40-year-old husband in an intimate, albeit virtual, position with an online prostitute within "Second Life", which she said was the "ultimate betrayal".

"I was so hurt," she was quoted as saying in The Times, adding that theirs was a "very serious marriage".

"I just couldn't believe what he'd done. It's cheating as far as I'm concerned, but he didn't see it as a problem and couldn't see why I was so upset.

"He said I was just making a big fuss and tried to make out it was my fault for not giving him enough attention."

Second Life is an online role-playing game with more than 15 million users, in which players can create virtual avatars and interact with other gamers, or the environment.

The game has its own virtual economy, in which online currency can be exchanged for real-world US dollars, and several major businesses have set up "branches" within the game, while others operate entirely within it.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Taylor claims that Pollard is now engaged to the woman he was having an online tryst with, despite never having met her.

She has, meanwhile, found a new love, through fantasy online role-playing game "World of Warcraft".

Random Peektures

Photobucket

My girls.

Photobucket

This was taken at Seletar, where Lazy, cookie and I spent two hours of our lives combing the entire area on bike to look for the Sunset bar and grill, which boasted great buffalo wings.

One Seletar. Two Hours. Three Bikes. 50 kilometres (I counted on my bike). We met at 8pm, and rounded til about 9+ when we met a friendly ang moh(caucasian), who offered to take us there after he finishes walking his dog, if we were still lost.

Obviously we were, so he pilloned with cookie without a helmet and directed us there. By the time we got there, the place was closed, so we dropped off the guy on his doorstep and pretended we were in some English country.

Photobucket

By the way, Sunset bar and grill's buffalo wings, not worth the two hours. Hot, as, hell, and we were only on level 3 out of 30. I was going to cry already, while cookie said it was just a little bit spicy.

It was quite expensive too, about $15+ for half a dozen wings, $18+ for prawn fritters with calamari and a whopping $20++ for steak that was frozen (no blood).

It was an outdoorsy kind of place, complete with your average garden variety of BUGS that wouldn't leave you alone (they had to put a mosquitoe coil under every table), the occasional splash of rain, and the food wasn't THAT great (ok, the calamari was nice, but it loses to Spizza's calamari).

Photobucket

However, the view was great. There was a plane passing by going into the airfield, and it passed quite near to the bar area. The sunset wasn't too shabby too, considering it was an overcast day. Imagine what the sunset would've looked like on a clear day!

Credit due, it was a nice place, and I was awfully sick, so maybe I didn't have a good impression.

I'll try again next time when I'm not so sick.

It's Just That...

Life has been so much better since you were "gone". I just don't want things to go back to the way they were.

You sounded sincere in your SMS to me. I almost believed you. But when I compared your SMS to me and your SMS to him, I wondered where all the real sincerity went. You're just apologizing to an object, not a human being, still being two-faced.

It's like a mother bringing a kid to the temple, and the kid in his playfulness kicks a statue of a deity. The mother tells the kid to "say sorry" or else she won't bring him out the next time, and the kid goes "Sooooorryyyy Miiiis-ter Deeeeiiii-ty" to the tone of our "Gooooood Mooor-liing Teeeacher" while absolutely not meaning it.

Photobucket

You knew that there would be a higher percentage of me showing that SMS to him, so you kept it as neat and as gracious as possible. But that message was ultimately meant for him (because you told him before you sent it to me that you were sure I'd show it to him, so that he would subconsciously want to see it), so that he can see what a kind and gracious *ahem*ahem* person you are.

Guess what? It backfired. It's between you and me, not him.

You also chided yet another person before you sent the SMS to me. Chided person, I believe you know who you are. So this means it takes yet another person to replace my place for you to resent before you can take the initiative to rectify the situation between you and me?

Many a times I've wanted to call you out without the Lazy to talk, because I wanted to make him happy and as you keep stressing, "for (his) sake". I even got your number from his phone. But time and time again you make me back out on that decision, even asking him out, specifically telling him that you wanted him only to go for dinner with you, no me allowed. Of which I allowed to happen and didn't make a fuss out of, but didn't happen because that day happened to fall on my cousin's birthday and we had to attend the party, but you took it as I disallowed the meeting. And then you asked for his e-mail address so you can contact him, insinuating at the same time that I would pretend to be him on his MSN to control his communications.

So yeah. I wasn't going to get angry at the beginning of this post. But as it progressed I remembered all the things you've done to us as a couple, and I couldn't help it.

Whether or not I SMS you back, or even meet you up for coffee to see if you are "sufficiently sincere", it doesn't matter. Because your reply to me and actions toward him will tell me otherwise.

It's not just about words. It's about actions. Your actions must tally with your words, and you mustn't play mind games with him because I know it when you are, and nothing makes me angrier than people treating Lazy like an idiot.

Playground! A Playful Photo Exhibition, 7 - 9 Nov 2008

Photobucket

Lomotion's second lomography exhibition.

So I was kind of modelling for Cudas for her panel in this exhibition (she couldn't find anyone else), and she decided to go for the siao(crazy) look.

Photobucket

She bought the pink pyjama dress from Bugis and let me play with her expensive expensive eyeshadow (that I bought for her that she never uses).

She had this "crazy person in hospital gown" idea in mind, and since pink (with a teddy bear over the pocket) won't do for a hospital gown, she used her B&W film instead. It turned out awesome.

We started playing with the idea of knives, blood and chalk.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The blood here, is made of Tamiya paint (for those in the know, it's clear red X-27), and you're not going to believe this but, nutella chocolate and peanut butter.

It... was.... disgusting, but looked awfully real.

Photobucket

Photobucket

We couldn't stop laughing all throughout the shoot, which wasn't good because it was 6pm and the sky was getting dark, and Cudas didn't want to use flash for her photos.

But we wasted a lot of film on laughing shots. And product placement.

Photobucket

Photobucket
This one's for the eyedrop.

So after my shoot, Lazy got reeled in to do a shoot for Cudas' panel too. Cudas moved the living room furniture and got Lazy to paint with her while I took a shower. The results were stunning when I came out.

Photobucket

She got Lazy half-naked and got him to mess up his hair with wax (which looked super good). Lazy dislikes this look, but I think it's sexy.

Photobucket

It was a fun few days of shooting, and the end results were good, because according to Cudas, most people liked the crazy-person section of her panel.

Photobucket

That would be the lower half of the panel. I liked the color photos better, but then that's just me.

Unfortunately these photos belong to Cudas, so I am unable to reproduce them in their majestic entirety. I can, however, give you a close up of the panel.

Photobucket

Not as close, lah, but still nice.

The other panels in the exhibitions were awesome too, I especially like Jimmy's one of the wooden box/seats with the backside photos. Very, very creative. Oh, and the walls filled with photos for the theme of playground, playmates, playthings, and the members photo panel.

The place was small, but it was awesome. See what you missed out on, Botak?

Jazzyme; 信 4:04 PM.

Curious

Random Squawk: This is a blasting post. Be warned.

Just being curious.

I kind of thought you were the one who started this war by telling someone to tell his girlfriend not to dwell on his past because it's unhealthy. You also unreasonably told that someone to tell his girlfriend to remove blog posts about you, which sparked off more wars.

But then, hor, you go and tell someone else to remove yet another blog post, hor, because it contains photos of your ex-girlfriend and her husband's (both of whom are that someone else's friends) event, because you are worried that your own girlfriend will see it.

Then logically, hor, you should tell her what you told other people, mah. Tell your own girlfriend not to dwell on your past, lah. Hypocritic, leh, you. So mah fan(troublesome) already still want to come out pattern(generate problems for other people).

Also, I thought you would've learnt your lesson about making people remove their blog posts. One war not enough, meh?

If everyone listened to you about removing blog posts and not posting sensitive things, then we'd all have blogs like these:

"Today I ate a sandwich for lunch. Then I drank a can of coke. Then I turned on the TV. Nothing was on, so I turned it off. Then I changed my clothes and went to McDees to nua. It was a very sian day."

Then again, if everyone were like you, we'd have groups of friends who sit around a table and the discussion would go like this:

"Eh, want to go where?"

"Dunno, you decide." Therefore handing the decision to the other party.

"Cinema watch movie, lah"

"Don't want."

"Pub drink beer, lah"

"Don't want."

"Sing KTV, lah."

"Don't want."

By now, the person suggesting the things will have a lot of symbols in his head (i.e !@#$%&*) but the other party will not find anything wrong.

Can you find anything wrong with that attitude?

Hint: People don't owe you anything.

Obama Wins Presidency

Seriously not my problem, and I seriously didn't watch the campaigns. Can't blame me, I'm not American (not that I actually care about the elections in Singalore either because for some reason it doesn't really matter which president we choose).

BUT..

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20081105/twl-us-vote-7e07afd_4.html

Why I like this guy:

1) Asian stock markets soared to a three week high after the results came out,

2) He looks friendly, AND he's a democrat (let's just hope by democracy he means DEMOCRACY, and not the Singalore version of democracy which functions suspiciously like communism)

and 3) Here's to hoping that the minorities in the States get fairer and equal treatment.

Then again, obviously anyone can be better than 8 years of Bush.

Bah.
